Bridge House

A concept design born from our clients experiences in lockdown, Bridge House was created in collaboration with DKO Architecture and Austral Bricks. From the outset, the goal was to craft a home that promotes lifestyle, connection to nature, and entertainment while easing the pressures of modern family life. During the lockdown, when families spent every moment, every hour, and every day at home, it became clear that our homes were not designed to support work, hobbies, exercise, school, relaxation, biophilic living, and a surge in amateur baking. Characterised by its feature internal courtyard, Bridge House separates the front and rear sections of the house, connected by a hallway, or “Bridge.” The courtyard is a nature-laden space that divides the utility, work, and storage area at the front from the lively, connected, and entertaining area at the rear. The first floor equally divides into a kids' quarters at the rear and a parents' domain at the front, spaces for privacy for all of the family.
