    For this family house, our in-house designers drew inspiration from rural Mediterranean architecture to establish a warm, rustic feel reminiscent of Tuscany. Combining the client's vision with a contemporary, edgy approach, the design reflects the client's personality through both interior and exterior elements.

    Currently undergoing design documentation, with construction set to begin in early 2025, the family house will be located in semi-rural Sydney on an acreage surrounded by native Australian bushland, creating an oasis-like retreat inspired by Tuscany.

    A family retreat embracing semi-rural surroundings on a wide block.

     

    Spread over two levels, the house makes use of the block's vast width to create a physical presence while blending into the natural surroundings with exterior tones and materials. Natural stone accents, timber rafters, timber floors, a featured fireplace with floor-to-ceiling stone, and warm tones throughout reinforce Tuscan architectural features, emulating the feeling of living in Tuscany.”
